I agree - not a bad idea but where would the line be drawn? The modern War on Terror?

75 years from now that would be like Fort DeGlopper.

Would it be limited to those who got it posthumously or would those alive be in the running?

However it goes I see politics and pandering - and many irritated folks.

All good questions, while I have some immediate thoughts on answers it would be better to form a committee and hash those out. Like I said, it could be as simple as what Home state the service member came from if the Fort/Base are located in the same. Or, where the unit is Headquartered of which they served. Maybe whether are not the Base serves a unique specialty like a SF Unit and the soldier in question was SF. Joint Bases with the AF, could each share an individual name but have a combined Joint US Base ...X... named after a third person from either branch.

Living or dead? Darn good question I just hope the Navy would not name a Base or Ship after Master Chief Britt Slabinski, but maybe they can find a latrine to honor him. (What was that line the movie...”Provo’s Privy, it sings doesn’t it?”) They could call it “Slabinski’s Shit Hole” - because it’s just appropriate.

Modern or old? Doesn’t matter to me put all the names in a basket and pull one.

Past MOH recipients replacing current Identifiers of Military bases is another form of liberal appeasement, Southern General of the past were chosen to help heal (sic) the division.

This appeasement is appealing to a condition created by the opposition to create division, where none existed, or was in the process of assimilation as a whole. The socialist lose if we come together.

The narrative of division that Obama brought forward, was to dislodged the advance made under the banner of equally enshrined in the civil rights movement. It was purposefully attacked because civil-rights balance opportunity, in education, the work place, and in society as a whole.

MOH proposal will never pass muster, the Socialist Democratic Party, here after referred to as SDP, will never support it. Why, there is absolute discrimination in the Award of the Honor, racially, that will be their kill button, and remember, never forget, the left hates conservatives principles, the military, regardless of its conformity to weak Presidents and putting the Nation at risk, will never be trusted, until they own it through corruption.

Get ready for bases to be safe names.

Well that’s just revisionist history then if these modern day SJW in the SDP can’t follow along.

All of that is true, from a societal reorganization perspective, that may never reach the table. The evidence that there was and has been equality in the award, undermines the narrative of disassociation and discrimination by the white super majority.

Their power is being oppressed, while stealing the wealth of the nation, both morally and ethically.

Apologies to all for my anger.

You are correct, there is more than enough MOH diversity to easily offer a valid and acceptable outcome.

I'm guessing Huachuca is safe for the time being.

So, we continue to rewrite the unique history of our once great nation.

Political revisionism.

What is next, thought police?

The Ministry of Truth sounds like a good business model for such an effort.
