Corona-V, Food Stockpiling..

I'm not a prepper, my "stockpile" is 2-3 weeks with a weekly refresh. I have been successful with Amazon but at the same time, I'm trying new venues.

When I ordered this 6 week supply from UberEats, the operator said I should have no problems making it last 8 weeks??

I think she lied

Anyone else experiencing similar problems?

On the other hand

Eating like that I wouldn't have to self isolate. The gas would make a skunk jealous.

That looks awesome!

We don’t really do takeaways beyond special occasions, but we supported our local Indian restaurant before the national shut down last night.

Looks like standard fare for a Scottish B&B. Not too bad, not too bad.

I could take care of the stuff on the plate in one sitting - would be full and have to drag myself off to the chair to recover - but I could do it.

These are not my pics, but there is a little "diner" in London, within walking distance of my kids flat that serves a family size full breakfast that looks like the platter.

In the 40yrs I have been going to the UK & Scotland, I have yet to attempt the blood sausage, I don't like bangers, and they don't make bacon, it's more air-dried ham, thick & chewy, called rashers.

BUT, in the last 10+yrs, they now have "crispy strips", which is very close to ours, and cut thick.

It may have changes hands as the interior has been refreshed and up-scaled.

JJ, I tried the blood sausage but just could not acquire a taste for it. Liked everything else though with the exception of over easy eggs, the ladies at the B&B's always commented on my wanting them over hard. Supposed to go back to Scotland and England mid August for 3 weeks, I am having my doubts as to that happening. We have tickets for the Military Tattoo in Edinburgh, what a show! Stay safe!

My condolences, I'm sunny-up and runny

I have friends in Greenock & Largs that try to go to the Tattoo most years. It's one event I have never attended.

They do some good American pancakes too. The Breakfast Club is normally on my list whenever I stop through London, then when I moved down there for a bit earlier this year I finally checked out the one next to Camden Markets.

Kind of longing for a full english with blood pudding and a pint this Sunday though.. small thing to miss.
