MG Mike Healy

I didn't see anything posted about him on the site so I apologize if I'm double posting. I came across this on the Task and Purpose website a few minutes ago. https://taskandpurpose.com/iron-mike...el-healy-dies/
"It is a brave act of valor to condemn death, but where life is more terrible than death, it is then the truest valor to dare to live." -Sir Thomas Browne (1605-1682)

What a Soldier! RIP General Healy.
The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Too bad they don't make 'em like "Iron Mike" any more.

BG Healey took over II Corps when JP Vann was killed...he was an AJ BG at the time.
He once sang the lonely mortar man song for a captive audience after a few drinks and was the first officer I saw at an award ceremony.

I still remember his words.

RIP good sir.
