Hello professionals,

have any of you taken the SOF OEMS course with live tissue training and extended field care? How would you rate it as far as how much you took away from and what does it offer in spades compared to mannequin/didactic training?

I need to write a justification letter to get funds to attend the training.

I would not go within a 1000 miles of Hagman and OEMS. Reach out to T1G, they provide excellent instruction without the baggage associated with the Hagman Circus.

10-14 DEC College of Remote and Offshore Medicine

CoROM Topical, Travel and Expedition Medical Skills(TTEMS) Course covers that in spades. They are a non-profit and run by folks with a long history in the subject matter; training providers who practice what they learn on a daily basis.
