I used a Bangalore once for that....we put it in the place of a drive shaft on an old truck....nice.....

I'd like to order a couple dozen of those XMAS trees for certain Democraps to decorate their house with this year.

B-52 ARCLIGHT, first choice. But seriously, agree with above, situation and Theater/terrain dictate. I always thought Claymores were over-rated. Even daisy chained. A well trained ODA/squad of marksmen can drop 10-12 men with one shot each. Takes planning and coordination. Was never a big fan of big noise, big shooting if not needed. Burn 2 belts of MG ammo to drop 6 dudes? Silly. Guess it was because I was old school, where you only had what you carried in, and resupply was unlikely. Tripwires only good if you know what's coming up the trail. Last thing you need is big noise tripped by an old woman herding one cow.

LOL Okie! Only problem is you need a lot of lead time to un-ass the AO, or a whole crap load of wire and a claymore clacker...

No, you back off just far enough so your Tm sniper can overwatch the device and then seek cover and pull your poncho over yourself....

Yeah, they tried to sell us that. How far can you run in an hour? Tactically? Not the best of ambush weapons...!

Ahh Reaper, seems you can be counted on for the right response! The whole idea of tactical nukes had soooo many issues for the sad sacks deploying them. Sounded good on paper...

Could tell a funny story about the fuses, but won't... Confirmed by an old EOD (heavy) tech, if any of you remember the old days difference between EOD heavy and light.
