Lone Star Tick and Meat Allergies

This is a little concerning: https://www.wired.com/story/lone-sta...y-be-spreading

Hadn't heard of this before sounds like Doctors and researchers are trying to find the range of this threat.

If I was allergic to meat, would I have to start driving a prius, drink pbr, wear skinny jeans, and develop a yen for obscure things?
