I never spent much time in the Ozarks. More than half of my life was spent out here in the Rocky Mountains, where I worked with outfitters, ranchers and cowboys. It was they who introduced me to the 3-S's. As for myself, I never acquired rank much higher than "Semi-Professional Cow Pie", so I humbly apologize for any offense that may have been inferred.
